WHAT DOES TRAINING INVOLVE?

If you’re looking to row competitively, either individually or as part of a team, training typically occurs 4-6 times per week. Sessions are scheduled in the evening (after school) on weekdays or on weekends.

Schedules remain flexible dependant on the tides and/or the availability of the coach(es).

The aim is to be on the water as much as possible, but land-training on the ‘ergs‘ (rowing machines) are also an important part of training schedules.
