Clifton Masters bring home medal haul from New Zealand Rowing Championships in Twizel

The Clifton Rowing Club Masters Team competed successfully in the New Zealand Masters Rowing Championships while the South Island is under Level 2 Covid restrictions on Lake Ruataniwha, Twizel over the weekend. Six oarsmen and women from the Waitara based club competed well, winning 8 Gold medals, 8 Silvers and 3 Bronze medals between them. Club President and winning rower, Gus Berghan says they all enjoyed the magic of Lake Ruataniwha, even with strict level 2 protocols in place.
